The road never ends—it only twists into new horizons

Are we good at coming up with creative ideas, draughting fair schedules, making sensible decisions, and yet failing to carry out goals as planned? It's understood that it is not easy to keep up our enthusiasm and work up to our ambition, especially when we have a range of responsibilities. But there are millions of them who have achieved it. Indubitably, none of them attained this success effortlessly.

At the end of the day, a path is just an option, and yes, it is one of the ways forward. It is the thing that you are doing right now and focusing on today. But tomorrow is another day. Yet, so many of you build your happiness by the road you are on. Somehow, you think and believe that it is the most important. But you have to be really careful. In the end, you need to keep your eyes on your goal because it is the thing that you are trying to achieve. Your end goal is what you are trying to get. The path is somewhat irrelevant, as it is really your best guess. It is the thing that you think is going to work.

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam once said, "Don't take rest after your first victory, because if you fail in the second, more lips are waiting to say that your first victory was just luck."

Each time we execute one part of our plan, we start celebrating and then fail to continue with the same eagerness at which we had started. Going by this, it is important to realise that "Every Destination is just another Milestone." There is only one destination in our life, which is death; no other achievement or success is a point of conclusion for our efforts.

Success should be considered as a never-ending journey. If you need to be successful throughout your lifetime, you need to consider each success as a milestone that is implanted on your journey of success to keep motivating you to never stop till you reach your next goal. From the newly achieved goal, you again need to set a new milestone and aim to reach there and go on and on.

Unless we look at success with this point of view, we may get distracted during this exhaustive journey. As said, exhaustively, we should be aware that we are carrying along with us some real energy boosters. Positive thinking and good times with family and friends are essential for us to stay fresh and energised throughout this journey of life.

My Shadowed Realm

I used to be the one finding the forever in the temporary things, ignorant of the cruelties, or in other words, the realities of the world. The mansion I created myself years ago was unaware of the pains the world gives at different times; neither was I given one nor ever attempted to go in-depth. Unmindful of the ferociousness, I kept heading forward, never knowing if the world could ever throw me in the place from where I could have nowhere to move toward for refuge, nor any sign to make a journey, or it would standstill my life in the way I had never ever thought of. The fragile mansion couldn’t come to terms with the merciless outside world and got wrapped in the thunderstorm, which retained in the play to enfold everything that came in its way. Time came when life showed its darkest side, directed hurdles in my way to deal with, and kept snatching what meant the most to me. I dealt with the things, endured, and one after another, life catapulted blocks on my tracks. With time, I f...

Book Review - The Kite Runner

A fascinating, emotional, and well-constructed blend of imagination and reality has been delineated by the bestselling Afghan author Khaled Hosseini in his remarkable and most read book, The Kite Runner. The book consists of the overall classification of the Pashtun and Hazara communities, which build up and complete the Afghani society. Further, it depicted the universal tale of friendship amid two kids who were more than brothers—Amir and Hassan—living a profuse lifestyle in the rich district of Kabul and side by side vindication, cataclysm, social and political upheaval, complex and overlapping relationships that entangled them in the intricate connections, and most importantly, an intense hope. The kite festival, which is a tradition of Afghani culture, used to take place each year, and a single victor used to come up from the hundreds and thousands. There were those who were kite runners and others who fought the kites. Hassan and Amir are the main characters of the book; one was ...

When rumors dictate diplomacy, chaos follows

Covid-19—the fatal virus that made history—has also killed off a substantial fraction of the world’s population as the total cases rapidly climbed globally, and the rest are still in a life-threatening situation. Some of the states have managed to control the situation, including China and New Zealand, while on the other side, the death rate of some ill-fated nations like the United States of America, Pakistan, India, etc., is still high, and they are experiencing night terrors on a day-to-day basis. Moreover, even the world’s hegemon lacked good governance and was unable to switch towards maintaining and retaining influence and coping with the challenging conditions. The worst-hit nations somehow survived and, bit by bit, returned to normal life as the daily cases wind down. Furthermore, deeper conspiracy theories have been emerging and doing rounds since the start of this dangerous disease, which contributed to the huge level of deteriorating the crisis even more. These theories are ...
