Balance is the key—uplift without belittling

Now almost everyone has come to know about the celebrations of 8th of March- International Women's day. This day has long been ignored in the past centuries but there came a time when the Socialist Party of America took a step towards organizing the Women's Day in 1909, in New York and in 1910, it was decided that this day will be held annually. The women gained a lot of sufferings in the Soviet Union in 1917, after that, 8th of March was declared as a public holiday there. Later it was adopted by Untied Nations. This year the theme of this day remained  “Think Equal, Build Smart, Innovate for Change”.
Different Cities of Pakistan arranged celebrations at different levels for the Women's Day. On large basis it was overlooked and still now only a few amount of people support this movement but this Day has made it's way into people's heart and now it is being celebrated world-wide.

Masses have become mindful of providing the rights to women/ girls since we have taken stand for ourselves. "Aurat kisi ki Jagir Nahin Hae" we know to handle our own issues, we are decisive and want to live in our own way. Till how far we will be guided by our so-called carers?? Such things need to be stopped.

The day before today, "Aurat Azadi March" was held at Islamabad Press Club, such awareness is a need of society, they instilled in woman that she is not someone's property, she is also someone.

The settings of our ambience show that some people have taken wrong meaning to the theory of FEMINISM, it doesn't permit one to insult the opposite gender like girls standing on roads while holding pieces written on them "tumhare baap ka rasta nahin hai", such  slogans which are being used by the majority not actually define the rights and feminism as a whole, this is an abusive behavior of one gender towards the other and such people are causing damage to the authentic and very straight-forward meanings of women's rights, equality and if we sum it up in a single word then, FEMINISM.
If people are denying the theory, rights and labeling as vulgar is because of swinish slogans used by some females. Rights can be achieved through proper means of decency and I think the accepted standards of morality can bring rights to females in more respectful way.
Women's Day celebration is good to bring realization in the blocked frame of mind and society where the male domination is all the rumination and  CAPITALIST PATRIARCHY has set wrong standards. We as a woman stand in need to cross out this stage from the surroundings. Women Democratic Front is an urge of the hour to make a change in the global order and appropriacy of steps matter  a lot in transforming the power to equal level.

My Shadowed Realm

I used to be the one finding the forever in the temporary things, ignorant of the cruelties, or in other words, the realities of the world. The mansion I created myself years ago was unaware of the pains the world gives at different times; neither was I given one nor ever attempted to go in-depth. Unmindful of the ferociousness, I kept heading forward, never knowing if the world could ever throw me in the place from where I could have nowhere to move toward for refuge, nor any sign to make a journey, or it would standstill my life in the way I had never ever thought of. The fragile mansion couldn’t come to terms with the merciless outside world and got wrapped in the thunderstorm, which retained in the play to enfold everything that came in its way. Time came when life showed its darkest side, directed hurdles in my way to deal with, and kept snatching what meant the most to me. I dealt with the things, endured, and one after another, life catapulted blocks on my tracks. With time, I f...

Book Review - The Kite Runner

A fascinating, emotional, and well-constructed blend of imagination and reality has been delineated by the bestselling Afghan author Khaled Hosseini in his remarkable and most read book, The Kite Runner. The book consists of the overall classification of the Pashtun and Hazara communities, which build up and complete the Afghani society. Further, it depicted the universal tale of friendship amid two kids who were more than brothers—Amir and Hassan—living a profuse lifestyle in the rich district of Kabul and side by side vindication, cataclysm, social and political upheaval, complex and overlapping relationships that entangled them in the intricate connections, and most importantly, an intense hope. The kite festival, which is a tradition of Afghani culture, used to take place each year, and a single victor used to come up from the hundreds and thousands. There were those who were kite runners and others who fought the kites. Hassan and Amir are the main characters of the book; one was ...

When rumors dictate diplomacy, chaos follows

Covid-19—the fatal virus that made history—has also killed off a substantial fraction of the world’s population as the total cases rapidly climbed globally, and the rest are still in a life-threatening situation. Some of the states have managed to control the situation, including China and New Zealand, while on the other side, the death rate of some ill-fated nations like the United States of America, Pakistan, India, etc., is still high, and they are experiencing night terrors on a day-to-day basis. Moreover, even the world’s hegemon lacked good governance and was unable to switch towards maintaining and retaining influence and coping with the challenging conditions. The worst-hit nations somehow survived and, bit by bit, returned to normal life as the daily cases wind down. Furthermore, deeper conspiracy theories have been emerging and doing rounds since the start of this dangerous disease, which contributed to the huge level of deteriorating the crisis even more. These theories are ...
