Now almost everyone has come to know about the celebrations of 8th of March- International Women's day. This day has long been ignored in the past centuries but there came a time when the Socialist Party of America took a step towards organizing the Women's Day in 1909, in New York and in 1910, it was decided that this day will be held annually. The women gained a lot of sufferings in the Soviet Union in 1917, after that, 8th of March was declared as a public holiday there.  Later it was adopted by Untied Nations.
