Dear Heart,
In Italy, there is a philosophy of life called 'Dolce Far Niente,' meaning the sweetness of doing nothing. It is about being in a moment of inner peace without enforcing what is superfluous. It is about finding joy in all the nuts and bolts of life, even the ones that are unembellished.
Sometimes, prioritizing peace is healthy for the soul and calming for the mind. The rat race of today's era has taken away much of our solace and transformed our lives diametrically.
Intermittently, it is paramount to observe the meticulous details of nature, find serenity under the skies, watch sunsets and sunrises, gaze at birds in the sky, and notice how delightful the world is around us.
Slowly sipping coffee in silence, savoring a modest meal, sitting alone with your thoughts, and a pen in your hand to document them. At times, simply looking up at the sky brings cheerfulness to the soul and a moment of gratitude for being able to witness it all.
Perhaps, dear heart, there is wisdom in simply being.
Bye.
