Dear Heart,
The flowers I collected in your memory have been dried with the lapse of time, but the recollection of those moments has ceased to take flight.
The more sunrises I collect in the moments when I yearn for your presence, the more each sunset brings nothing but the despair of ever seeing you return.
Each sip of morning tea gives me the hope that you are closer than close, and with every last sip, it all feels in vain.
Being human is not easy, no matter how much you prefer the pink lens; blue takes over you.
Trying to see the rose in every shade you have left behind.
Bye.
~Zara M.
